Valossa Unveils Agentic Video AI for Advertising: From Brand-Safe Understanding to Generative CTV and Cross-Platform Ads

The new conversational agentic video intelligence release, Valossa Assistant Version 2, titled “Deep Focus”, delivers sharper multimodal video understanding, with brand-safety and media-planning intelligence, for marketers, brands and creatives. It is powered by Valossa’s latest-generation multimodal video AI, developed in-house over the past decade, and Ad Scout, a contextual advertising engine with built-in advanced scene-level video content scoring with IAB classifications. Moreover, Valossa’s advanced content intelligence stack is poised for next generation generative video-advertising, a powerful AI tool for marketers, which is now in private preview with selected partners.

Oulu, Finland — June 24, 2026. Valossa, a deep-tech company in multimodal video AI, today set out how its video intelligence now serves the advertising and media world end to end: understanding video, finding the ad opportunities inside it, and beginning to generate the ads and commercials itself.

For more than a decade Valossa has built its own multimodal AI that watches, hears and reads video the way a person does. That same understanding now does three jobs for marketing and advertising teams, across three products.

1. Valossa Assistant™ Version 2 introduces “Deep Focus” — puts video understanding to work for marketers and creators

Valossa Assistant is the company’s agentic, conversational video AI solution for automated video workflows: upload a video, ask what is in it, how it could be repurposed and monetized, and get precise, timestamped answers. The new “Deep Focus” release, live now, makes that understanding noticeably sharper, and especially useful for marketing, content and advertising work.

Beyond sharper answers, more versatile summaries, auto-found soundbites and highlights, and caption translation across languages, Deep Focus reads a video the way a strategist would. Teams can simply ask it to:

  • Profile the audience — who a video is likely to resonate with, across ads, creator and publisher content.
  • Check brand suitability and safety — detailed suitability analysis with IAB content categories, so you know a video fits a brand before it runs.
  • Read the competition — how a video compares to typical category norms, or upload competitor ads and ask for side-by-side comparisons.
  • Analyze theme, mood and style — the creative read, in plain language.
  • Pull promotional clips — the moments worth cutting for promos and social, found for you.
  • Inform media planning — context, suitability and audience signals that show where content belongs. Deep Focus shapes the plan; the team still makes the call.

It is the same conversation marketers already use, now with a clear eye for advertising and content marketing. Ask your videos anything →

2. Valossa Ad Scout™ — the contextual engine underneath

The advertising intelligence in Deep Focus continues years of innovation at Valossa. It builds on Valossa AI™ and Valossa Ad Scout™, the company’s contextual advertising service already in use for media content understanding.

Ad Scout performs deep audio-visual analysis of full videos and individual scenes to find the best-ranked ad opportunities inside the content. It maps each video to IAB content categories, scores the opportunities, and applies proprietary brand-safety and suitability AI to flag sensitive material across speech, substances, violence, sexuality and more. The result is scored, time-coded ad markers that help streaming, FAST, AVOD and CTV services build brand-safe, contextually targeted in-video inventory automatically.

In other words: the engine that helps media companies place the right ad in the right moment is the same engine that now helps marketers and brands judge a video’s audience, suitability and context inside Valossa Assistant.

3. Valossa’s Ad AI leads towards generative ads, grounded in understanding

Most generative ad tools work the same way: a prompt goes in, a generic clip comes out. Valossa is taking a different path. Valossa’s upcoming agentic ad AI tool – Valossa Ad Director™ applies the company’s video and brand content understanding technology to ad creation: it ingests your key content — assets, resources, prompts and media. It uses agentic intelligence to work from your existing assets, and can generate new video scenes or animate images you already have. It composes a multi-scene video ad and gives a working editor for the human final touch — from a website or brand assets to a finished multi-scene ad in minutes. It produces ads for CTV-style and social placements.

Bringing simple CTV advertising tools to SMBs and beyond. Connected TV has been hard for smaller advertisers to access, because production and activation are complex. Ad Director and Valossa AI are designed to change that, with these targets:

  • Create — Start from your website and brand resources. Add your own instructions and media. Ad Director works from your existing assets and can generate new scene imagery or animate images you already have, into 15–30 second CTV-style ads.
  • Understand — Valossa’s multimodal AI watches, listens and reads every frame, structuring scenes, dialogue, on-screen text and brand moments. From that analysis, Valossa Assistant suggests tones and styles for new ad generation.
  • Optimize — The platform suggests edits, hooks and highlight moments that improve attention and brand recall on the big screen.
  • Format — Produce ads adapted to CTV/OTT templates and specifications.
  • Brand-safe — Valossa Ad Scout’s IAB-based contextual and suitability intelligence is being built into creative checks during media analysis.
  • Activate — Planned partner integrations to export CTV-ready creatives and connect with demand-side platforms and streaming publishers.

By combining generative storytelling with its multimodal, agentic video AI, Valossa aims to give all businesses, including local and regional, powerful tools to analyze, create and launch premium brand content and TV campaigns with the same intelligence and safety that large media companies rely on.

Ad Director is in private preview, and Valossa is showing its generative features in action to a small number of selected partners now.

One stack, three steps

Understand the video. Find the ad opportunity inside it. Create the ad. Valossa Assistant, Ad Scout and Ad Director are three expressions of Valossa’s video and multimedia intelligence. Valossa’s video understanding runs EU-private, independent of US hyperscaler lock-in.

“We have spent more than a decade teaching AI to watch, hear and read video and media content. Deep Focus release is the point where that understanding becomes genuinely useful for marketers and brands, not just analysts. Ad Scout already helps media professionals find brand-safe ad opportunities from assets at scale. Ad Director is the natural next step: the same understanding, now helping create the ad. We are inviting a small group of partners to preview Ad Director and shape it with us.”
