Graymeta and Valossa Announce Partnership

GrayMeta to Integrate Valossa AI Into GrayMeta Platform

September 15, 2017

AMSTERDAM – GrayMeta, a leading provider of professional media players and metadata solutions for content owners, and Valossa™, a video artificial intelligence (AI) company, today announced a partnership. Valossa Core API will be integrated into the GrayMeta Platform, enabling organizations to unify disparate platforms and services to quickly leverage the power of artificial intelligence via one platform and API to find and use assets. The companies will jointly deliver an enhanced experience for contextual content search for customers that own and produce large volumes of video.

Valossa Core API, powered by a comprehensive video recognition engine, can simultaneously recognize people, visual concepts, audio events, spoken keywords, topic categories, and highlight explicit content, and provide market-leading utility to video management tasks. Valossa believes its video intelligence features will become standardized throughout the industry, as video-based companies seek greater monetization around content using intelligent discovery features.

GrayMeta will demonstrate the GrayMeta Platform, with the Valossa AI stack, at the IBC conference in Amsterdam, September 15-19, in Stand# 8.C21 in Hall 8 of the RAI Convention Center.

“We are focused on delivering enhanced, intelligent metadata solutions that leverage powerful machine learning and AI technology, and delivering to a wide range of customers worldwide,” said John Motz, CTO of GrayMeta. “We now feel that we are providing more value to our customers, who are creating and storing massive amounts of video that needs to be classified for ready access at any time.”

“Video service and software market has been the focus since our founding, and we see great opportunities for video intelligence both in the cloud, and on-premise.” said Mika Rautiainen, co-founder and CEO, Valossa. “Together, with GrayMeta, we can deliver a simple and efficient way for customers to use AI to articulate video content characteristics.”

Valossa, the deep content company founded in 2015, is a leading provider of advanced products for AI-based visual content search and recognition.
